About the Bruce Trail
The Bruce trail follows the edge of the Niagara Escarpement for more than 800 km.
It begins in Queenston, Ontario (near Niagara Falls) and travels through major cities such as St. Catharines, Hamilton, Burlington, and into Owen Sound, and Wiarton before ending in Tobermory.

The 1st year LITs will be hiking a northern section of the Bruce trail located in the Bruce Peninsula near Tobermory. They will be journeying out of Cyprus Lake and hiking as far as High Dump before returning at the end of the week.
Bruce Peninsula National Park is maintained by the Bruce Trail Conservancy. It is also one of the thirteen UNESCO World biosphere reserves in Canada, a special project started by the UN to promote peace as well as environmental conservation through education.
