Saturday Morning Worship at HCC

 

Come and join us as we celebrate our weekly camps with a spirited and spirit-filled Eucharist! 

Weather permitting, we gather outside in our Outdoor Chapel so bring your lawn chair, sunscreen and a hat!

Saturday July 17, we were visited by Bishop Terry who told us about his journeys to Africa, and the work he does there.

 

 

 

Boston Run Thanks

Many thanks to everyone who supported the Huron Church Camp / Boston Marathon fundraiser. To date, and it’s never too late to contribute, we have raised $20,000 to go to this summer’s camp bursary fund. This will enable about 65 kids who might not otherwise have the opportunity or means to experience a life-changing week at HCC.

 

Special thanks to Sam Thomas and the community of St. Michael & All Angels, London and to the Runt Club Runners. Also, thanks to Dave Parson at Huron Church News for helping us out.

 

It was a beautiful spring day in Boston for the run and, old and slow as we are, we managed to run well enough to requalify for the 2011 marathon.  Thanks to you all for supporting the camp and our kids!

Thanks for a great Work Day Saturday May 8

Fifty souls braved a cold rainy windy day, journeying to HCC to help get the camp ready for the summer. Carpenters, gardeners and cleaners from St Ann's Byron, St James Westminster, St Paul's Essex, Holy Trinity, Chatham, St Alban's dusted, raked, hammered, nailed, sawed, swept and prepared a hot lunch and lots of tea.coffee and hot chocolate. There's still lots and lots to be done...let us know if you are able to come and help out!
