Programming is carefully planned to explore all aspects of camp life through themes that promote learning, reflection and spiritual growth in a worshipping community. In a safe, fun and playful environment campers and staff will discover more about themselves, neighbours, creation and God!

Stay for two whole weeks and enjoy favourite camp activities, learn about our Leader in Training Program, share thoughts and feelings about the move to high school, reunite with old friends and welcome and make new ones...
Most of our staff were once campers who decided to pass their great camp experiences on to future generations. Our Leader in Training Program offers teens an opportunity to do this with an emphasis on serving God by serving God’s children. HCC has a wonderful pool of young people from which to choose counsellors, and the Diocese of Huron is enriched by active, knowledgeable and faithful young leaders…

LIT Year 2 (ages 15-16)
Dates: Aug 8-28
The second year builds on Year 1 at HCC or an equivalent program. Development of skills in camp counselling including working with campers with special needs, behaviour management, cabin group activities, communication, leadership theory and small group dynamics. There are many opportunities to work directly with campers while earning community service hours. Year two applicants are asked to fill in a paragraph stating why they want to be in the program with their registration form
